5 digital tools to track your job search

In the current job market, it is common to apply for a large number of positions at the same time. Here are several tools to track your applications and stay on top of your job search process.

Classic but effective, Excel is as boring as it is flexible. Compared to other online applications, Excel makes it easier to integrate / format past data. Download our template here.

Google Sheet is very similar to Excel except that your files are online on the Google Drive Cloud. Google Sheet offers additional features to Excel. Prerequisites: a Gmail account to use Google Drive. Just like Excel the tool makes it easier to integrate past data.

Huntr is an online application that allows you to manage a search in a fun and ergonomic way. Free and practical. The application is based on simplified agile / kanban methodology.

Gojobhero is another fun online app, convenient and free. Also an agile / simplified Kanban methodology.

Trello is at the top of advanced project management applications. Very flexible and complete, Trello is much more than a tool to track your job search, you can really go further. I had to quote it here and let you do your research if you want to work with a cutting edge tool!

And to conclude?

Finally you have the choice between two classic methods (Exel and Google Sheets), two online applications (Huntr and Gojobhero) and Trello that will require more effort but you can really adapted as you want.
The main thing is to follow up on your research seriously.
